I made these with a Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge mix (13x9 Family Size), and added more water and chocolate chips because this mix was larger than the one originally called for and did not include chocolate chunks. These bake into delicious, chewy, moist cookies and while the recipe is great as-written, I may add coconut extract as other reviewers mentioned just to send them over the top.

I substituted a Pillsbury Chocolate Fudge brownie mix (13x9 Family Size) and had to increase water somewhat as this package is almost 5 oz. larger than the one originally called for. I also added some chocolate chips since this mix didn't have the chocolate chunks. These are delicious, soft, and chewy - a big hit with my DH - but next time I will consider adding coconut extract also and possibly slivered almonds.

These were OK. I couldn't find the same size of brownie mix, so had to adjust liquids just a little. Also, should have added the coconut extract. Couldn't really taste much coconut. Will make again with adjustments.

OH my goodness, I just made a batch of these a half hour ago, and they are all GONE!!! This is an exceedingly simple cookie to make, and amazingly delicious, as well! I made some that were nice and large, and also a cookie sheet full of smaller ones for the tiny people i cook for... my 1 year old nephew freaked out, he loved them so much! I suggest this for families w/ small children, or families who like to eat together!

I was looking for a "cookie" that would hold for shipping. Wow these are so good and easy. I did add a teaspoon of coconut extract since I'm a coconut lover.
