Black beans introduce a new flavor to traditional picnic fare.

Ingredients

  • 1 (15-oz.) can Progresso™ black beans, drained, rinsed
  • 1 (8-oz.) can pork and beans, undrained
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Steps

  • 1
    In medium saucepan, combine all ingredients; mix well. Simmer beans over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Spoon into thermos container for picnic.
