I made this for my husband's birthday and he loved it. He said it's the BEST apple pie he's ever tasted. Made me feel good. He just asked me to make it for Christmas! That is when I decided to come in and write a review about it. The only change that I will make this time is less apples. I had too many left over. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Follow it exactly and you will be happy! Personally I don't care for apple pie.. but I did eat this one too!

This was only the second apple pie I've made from scratch, but it was definitely better than the first! It is my boyfriend's favorite dessert and he says it's the best apple pie he's had! The only negative thing we found was the apples turned out a little crisp, but that could have probably been fixed by leaving it in longer. Great pie!!

I used this recipe for the filling, but used a top and bottom pie crust instead of the crumble. Delicious.

This is an excellent beginner apple pie for those of you that are afraid of baking...at least it was for me hehe...It's extremely good and is a quick pie to make right before the guest come over I love serving it hot with a scoop of ice cream maybe even drizzle some caramel sauce over the top..all in all I give the pie 3 thumbs up

I started using this recipe about 4 years ago and I now have a list of 5 people that I have to make it for every year. This is the best apple pie I have ever tasted and everyone I make it for say the same! It even beats my grandmothers famous apple pie!

I loved the thought of baking a apple pie that was different from what I had been used to baking. I started this receipe and I became more confident that I could prepare this pie. When I took it out of the oven I was surprised at it's appearance. When this pie cooled down, I proceeded to slice it and was surprise at it's form, and the flavor made my taste buds jump w/excitement. This Brown Butter Creamy Apple Pie Is GOOD!

Super Yummy! No need to try other apple pie recipes, this one is perfect! I double or triple the amount of crumb topping. Also freezes well if you premake and freeze.

Best apple pie ever. I used yelloe delious apples and it still was the best. When you cut this pie the filling stays in and doesnt fall out like other pies. This will be my specialty from now on. Bobcat46
