This dish is okay, but it wasn't worth the extra work. I would rather just have the broccoli in cheese sauce straight out of the package. I love bacon, but in this instance there was no need for the extra ingredients.

I made this for Thanksgiving and it was delish!! Everyone loved it and its been added to my list of dishes to make when entertaining!

This is a large recipe and one the whole family can enjoy at the holidays or on Super Bowl Sunday as its ingredients are ones that nearly everyone likes so the kids won't push it around their plates to make it look eaten as the family puppy or kitty would not cotton to the kids putting this on the floor for them to snack on. And new cooks will have little trouble making this due to the convenience of being able to purchase the key ingredients from Green Giant.
