I deleted the onions and used the precooked bacon strips. I lay two bacon strips in an x shape pressed into the biscut layer and up over the sides, then crack the egg and top with the cheese. Came out perfect. (I hate cooking bacon--too much of a mess--so using the precooked bacon makes the whole prep go so much faster and cleaner. My adult kids loved them and they are great for an on-the-go breakfast.

The nutritional value of this recipe and many others on this site continue to be WRONG. 1030 mg of sodium does NOT equate to 1030% of daily recommended value. Pillsbury, can't you PLEASE FIX THIS?!

Super easy, & my husband loved how easy they were to reheat in the toaster oven for a quick breakfast @ home. Great w/a dash of Sriracha. I did substitute ham (we had it on hand from a Pillsbury slow cooker recipe), and think you could throw in a little leftover peppers or mushrooms w/the onions.
