Directions

  • 1 Pre-Cook the bacon or sausage, drain grease. Scramble the eggs, set aside to cool. Dice all the vegetables into small pieces (The meat is optional, these can be veggie & Cheese)
  • 2 Open package of Crescent Rolls DO NOT PULL APART! Use the 2 piece trangles as one flat square piece, lay flat onto baking pan (Un-Greased). Now the fun, place the meat, eggs veggies, cheese onto the square dough, these do get full but it really adds flavor, cover with other half of dough and pinch the ends with your fingers, a fork will add a nice touch to the ends for decoration.
  • 3 Heat oven to 375 and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, careful they are very hot when they come out of oven, again just before removing you can add more cheese to the top. I prefer Salsa or Hot Sauce on mine. Sour Cream also works well as a garnish. Kids love them as once they are cool they can be picked up and eaten, no fork or knife. It is so easy and quick, for larger families you can opt to use the large Crescent Rolls, ENJOY cause breakfast is the Family Meal! Let the children help!

This was great for a quick but special breakfast. I used eggs, bacon and cheese. I made two smaller "loaves" by separating the dough in two squares. This made nice smaller pieces. Would be great for a take along brunch.

I use more eggs and cheese, add hash browns, and sometimes I add ham instead of sausage or bacon.
