tablespoon vegetable oil

can (8 oz) tomato sauce

teaspoon Italian seasoning

cup shredded mozzarella cheese (2 oz)

  • 1 In shallow bowl, beat egg with fork. In shallow dish, place bread crumbs. Dip each veal cutlet into egg; coat with bread crumbs.
  • 2 In 8-inch nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add veal; cook on both sides until browned.
  • 3 Reduce heat to low; stir in tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Cover; simmer 12 to 15 minutes or until veal is tender. Sprinkle with cheese; cover and cook 1 to 2 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

I made the Breaded Veal Cutlets for my family- -they loved them- -they all told me to thank you for the recipe and to keep sending me more recipes- -that way they get nice different meals. thanks loads==Gloria

After removing the veal from the frying, keep it warm while the tomato sauce gets fairly warm. Then retur the veal and proceed with the recipe as written.
