I did not like this pie at all! IMHO Cinnamon and Nutmeg do not belong with blueberries! It was a waste of blueberries. I will not ever make this pie again. Also, I give this recipe 0 stars. But, for some reason, I can't remove that last star.

This was a great pie if you like blueberries and custard. I used a ready made frozen pie crust and fresh blueberries. Next time I think I will try and add more blueberries. It didn't seem like enough especially when they all floated to the top. The bluerries added more natural sweetness to the pie.

little or no crust is neccessary. it is more like a custard, like the consistancty of creme brulee or pumpkin pie. it needs a couple more tablespoons of sugar. the frozen berries had a hard skin. i'd use fresh, perhaps even blackberries instead and crush them up with some sugar. the berries float to the top. adding a glaze to the top would be good.

Made this for Thanksgiving because I had 5 pounds of frozen blueberries in by freezer from the summer. My husband and family fell in love this this. It was easy to make and has been requested to be made again for Christmasm he wants three of these pies this time. My husband is not the easiest to please and he usually just eats pumpkin and apple so the fact that this has been requested again says a LOT!
