Ingredients

can of pilsbury biscuits
1/2
cup fresh blueberries
3
Tbs brown sugar
pinch of cinnamon
teaspoon of vanilla
8
oz of cream cheese (optional)
vegetable or canola oil (enough for about an inch in your frying pan)

  • 1 spread biscuits out on counter and flatten
  • 2 stir blueberries, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla together in a bowl
  • 3 spoon a few berries into the center of the biscuit and fold over Pressing edges together.
  • 4 heat oil until it wrinkles or bubbles.
  • 5 place the filled biscuits into hot grease.
  • 6 cook on each side until golden brown. then drain and place on a paper towel lined plate.
  • 7 (optional) soften cream cheese and spread onto poppers or use for dipping.
  • 8 ENJOY!! :)

It was good, but be careful the oil doesn't get too hot or it won't fry the dough all the way through. I rolled the dumplings in sugar right after I took them out of the pan. Mixing and mashing blueberries and a little bit of sugar into the cream cheese adds yummy extra blueberry flavoring!
