My husband, oldest son (16 yrs) & I thought this sounded so good. I figured my younger 2 kids would either love it or hate it. They hated it. My husband, son & I thought it was good but the whole box of velveta & the sharp cheddar was just too much. I plan on making it again but cutting the cheese in half. The idea is great though.

I really wanted to like this recipe because I don't like all the negative reviews made by people that didn't even try it. But I'm sorry, I didn't. On a convience level, this is super easy. I was amazed at what came out for the little amount of work that I did. And it would be a big kid favorite, but I have to eat, too. And frankly, the taste of the "loaf of processed cheese product" was pretty overwhelming and not at all delicious. Maybe I had higher expectations than I should have.

I made this for my guests last week and it was wonderful! What a great idea to add veggies to mac and cheese! I will definitely make it again and try it on our church next fifth Sunday fellowship.

for Wendy106.....
The only "loaf" cheese I know of would be Velveeta.

these comments are on my nerves~ when i saw this recipe i couldn't wait to try it. i try to cut fat and calories but hey, it sounds awesome. the people complaining about pillsbury posting this recipe must be fat and not have enough common sense to either lighten up the recipe or skip it. people are obese because they eat like pigs not because someone posted a "fattening" recipe: get real and oh yea, pillsbury will probably have to close its doors if they lose you as a customer.....

I agree with gidgetgad....it is all about self control and portion control. I'm tired of people imposing their beliefs on others!
