Black Olive Bites

These tasty, flaky bites make great appetizers and yummy snacks. You could even use them as a side dish to compliment a nice Italian dinner.

Ingredients

cans Extra large pitted black olives
Mozzerella Cheese (cut into small rectangular cubes) aprox. 1/2
1
(8oz) can of Pillsbury Crescents (garlic butter)
1
Egg
1
Tbs Milk
2
Tbs Sesame Seeds
1
Jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce (for dipping)

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375 F. Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • 2 Unroll crescents and in one sheet. Cut the full sheet into 4 rectangles. Cut each rectangle in half lengthwise into 4 strips:cut strips in half crosswise to make 32 strips.
  • 3 Stuff each olive with a chunk of mozzerella cheese. Place the stuffed olive on a strip of dough. Wrap the dough strip around the olive and roll between the palms of hands until olive is covered completely by dough. Place on baking sheet. Repeat until all olives or dough strips are used up.
  • 4 In a small bowl mix together egg and milk. Brush egg mixture on tops of each dough ball. Sprinkle sesame seeds over each.
  • 5 Bake 12 to 15 min. While these are baking, heat spaghetti sauce in a microwaveable dish for about 2 min.
  • 6 Serve hot with dipping sauce.
