I made this for dinner last night and it was good! It was a quick and filling supper. I only had the biscuits, taco sauce (used 8 oz), cheese and the ground beef which I used a pound. Its just like my enchiladas that I make only in biscuit bake form! My boyfriend loved it and will make it again!

Instead of ground beef, use real meat and cook it a little longer. ;)

My boyfriend LOVES this dish. He wants me to make it every week. I did tweek the recipe a bit by using a full pound of ground beef, mexican shredded cheese and not using the vegetables. It is really good with shredded lettuce, sour cream and salsa on top. This will always be on the menu in our house.

I think the recipe call for too much taco sauce and not enough baking time. Thus, the final product was too loose and the biscuits were undercooked. Next time I will try using enchilada sauce instead of taco sauce(about 10 ounces instead of 16)and lengthen the cooking time. I also substituted drained black beans for the beef since my family is vegetarian..its a great alternative.

My family loves this recipe and I have also shared it with the gang at work. I don''t care form bell peppers or mushrooms so I added green chiles with my ground beef as well as taco seasoning it''s so yummy!
