I made this recently and added jalapenos but I also had to cook it a little longer (22 to 25 minutes). It was great and I will definitely make it again.

My husband and I LOVED this recipe!! I modified it slightly by substituting 8oz enchilada sauce and 8oz salsa for taco sauce (did not have any). Needed to cook biscuits 22 minutes - Also used taco seasoning packet and ground beef. Will DEFINITELY make this again!!

I made this and took the advice of a couple other reviewers and added a little taco seasoning to the hamburger and black beans. It turned out really good. I served it with taco toppings.... lettuce, tomato, sour cream and green onions and my family loved it.I will be making this again next time I am gonna add a bit of green chili peppers..I think that would make it all the better.

To make this tastier, I used 1pound beef and added 1pound of
mexican style chorizo then cooked them together and drained them. before adding to the recipe. Turned out great.

This is very yummy and my kids think so too. We like to omit the taco sauce and instead use spaghetti so sauce for a quick pizza. Very versatile recipe.

This was great. My husband and three boys, ages 8, 6, and 3 devoured it. I added half a packet taco seasoning to the hamburger for a little extra flavor. I'll definitely be making this again!

I had my 2 boys ages 8 & 10 help me make this & they loved it. We all really liked it, but it was a particularly good one to have them help with as one did the biscuit part and one cooked the meat and peppers on the stove. It was quick & we forgot to precook the biscuit mixture before we added the meat, but we cooked it for about 20 minutes and it came out just fine. We added corn and left out mushrooms.
