Ingredients

1 - Pillsbury® Grands!® Jr. Golden Layers® Buttermilk Refrigerated Biscuits 12 oz (10 ct)
Pizza Sauce
Cheese-shredded or thinly sliced
Pepperoni, Sausage, or any other meat
Assorted pizza toppings

Directions

  • 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2 On an ungreased baking sheet, flatten biscuit dough to about 1/4 thick and about 3 inch diameter.
  • 3 Spoon a bit of pizza sauce on 5 pieces of dough. Spread close to edges.
  • 4 Add toppings of your choice for example pepperoni, olives, or green peppers.
  • 5 Cover toppings with cheese.
  • 6 Lay unused biscuits on top of topped biscuits. Pinch top and bottom biscuits together.
  • 7 Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.

Leftover chicken or ground beef and any vegetables are great in these. You can also make them with salsa instead of pizza sauce for a mexican flavor. These pizza pockets are excellent to put in kids lunch boxes.
