Sally1975 - At the very end of the directions in small print you'll find "A mixture of 2 tablespoons honey and 1 teaspoon lemon juice can be brushed over the berries."

This was great! I cut the squares much smaller (1 by 2) which was time consuming but it was a perfect two bite dessert.

Little stars need to be brushed with milk and sprinkled with sugar too, otherwise they are too plain.Otherwise was a big hit at our 4th of July BBQ!

In the picture it looks like there is something on the blueberries. What is it and why isin't it in the recipe?

Also had way too much filling than what I had used for the squares...

I wanted more squares so I cute each pie crust into 9 smaller squares. Which made making stars a little harder but since the bottom half sticks into the filling I made them flat. Even with them being a smaller square people had a hard time eating them as a bite size dessert. This is def. a fork & knife dessert. Great flavors but unsure how to make this work for a large party....

This was very good!
I ended up changing it a little bit because if I had cut it into squares I would not have been able to serve everyone. So instead of cutting the crust up, I just kept it as a circle, rolled up the edges to make the outer crust, and scooped the filling onto it like a normal pie/cheesecake and topped it off with the berries!
Worked perfectly!
