Beef with Mushrooms and Noodles

Ingredients

cups uncooked medium egg noodles (6 oz)
1/2
lb boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into thin bite-size strips
1/4
teaspoon peppered seasoned salt

can (15 oz) Italian-style tomato sauce
1
package (8 oz) sliced fresh mushrooms (3 cups)
6
small green onions, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

Directions

  1. 1 Cook and drain noodles as directed on package, omitting salt. Place on serving platter or in serving bowl; cover to keep warm.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, sprinkle beef with peppered seasoned salt. Heat 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef; cook and stir 2 minutes or until brown.
  3. 3 Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms and onions (if necessary, break up larger pieces of tomatoes with spoon). Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low; simmer uncovered 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender. Pour beef mixture over noodles; toss gently to mix.
