Ingredients

cups uncooked instant rice

cups water

(1-oz.) pkg. beef and broccoli-flavored authentic oriental seasoning mix

cup beef broth

tablespoons lite soy sauce

tablespoon oil

garlic clove, minced

lb. beef top sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
1/2
lb. fresh broccoli, cut into small pieces (2 cups)

cup diagonally sliced celery

dried black mushrooms (from .75-oz. pkg.)

Directions

  1. 1 Cook rice in water as directed on package.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine seasoning mix, broth and soy sauce; blend well. Set aside.
  3. 3 Heat oil in large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic and beef strips; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.
  4. 4 Add broccoli and celery; cover and cook 4 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms and broth mixture; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbly and thickened. Serve over rice.
