Beef Brisket with Cranberry Gravy

Come home to a luscious beef brisket, slow cooked in a cranberry gravy.

lb fresh beef brisket (not corned beef)

teaspoon salt

teaspoon pepper

can (16 oz) whole berry cranberry sauce

can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1/2
cup chopped onion

tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 Rub surface of beef brisket with salt and pepper. In 4- to 5-quart slow cooker, place beef. In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over beef.
  • 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
  • 3 Remove beef from slow cooker. Cut beef across grain into thin slices. If desired, skim fat from cranberry sauce in slow cooker. Serve beef with sauce.
