medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)

cup sliced fresh mushrooms

cup uncooked pearl barley

cups Progresso™ beef flavored broth (from two 32-oz cartons)

dried bay leaves

cup Green Giant™ Steamers™ frozen baby sweet peas

Directions

  1. 1 Spray 4- to 5-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Mix all ingredients except peas in cooker.
  2. 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 9 hours.
  3. 3 About 10 minutes before serving, stir in peas. Increase heat setting to High. Cover; cook about 10 minutes or until peas are thoroughly cooked. Remove bay leaves.
