I used whole wheat noodles and boiled them until just soft enough so I could roll them up. Never had whole wheat noodles so was nervous but couldn't tell the difference all was put together.

I made these for the first time last night. I have never cooked lasagna before so was a little intimidated. Served with a side of garlicky asparagus. My husband couldn't stop praising me. It was so sweet. He kept saying "wow honey you've outdone yourself," "10 out of 10!" He then called my MIL who is a phenomenal cook to brag me up. Very easy and super yummy. Any beginner can do this!

Perfection for 2 people! Super easy, tasty and quick!! I used regular lasagna noodles because I couldn't find the noodles listed in the recipe. Love this recipe!

Loved these, very easy to make. I just used boxed lasagna noodles, boiled them and followed the rest of the recipe. Also I put spinach in some and not the others for those picky eaters in the house. Great Recipe!!

I didn't have the ricotta cheese so just mixed the egg with mozzerella cheese and seasonings. Couldn't find the noodles so used the regular lasagna noodles. Great recipe!!! Loved it.

This has become a mainstay for us. We love it. I cook regular lasagna noodles and use those.

lornor: If you can't find the Pillsbury brand, any precooked/no boil lasagna will do.

I cannot review the recipe because I could not find the Pillsbury Frozen noodles. I need some suggestions for another recipe.

LOVED it!! I left out the spinach and mixed dried parsley flakes over the ricotta mixture instead. Also added about 1 tsp. or so of Italian seasonings to the meat mixture. Portion sizes are great.
To make this more healthy, I substituted lean ground turkey for the ground beef and used part-skim ricotta. Also used the suggestion of a previous reviewer and substituted low-carb pasta. Absolutely delicious!
