(10.2-oz.) can (5 biscuits) Pillsbury® Grands!® Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits

(40-oz.) can beef stew
1
cup Green Giant® Valley Fresh Steamers™ frozen sweet peas
1/2
teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1
tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Bake biscuits as directed on can; keep warm.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in large saucepan, combine stew, peas, thyme and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring frequently.
  • 3 To serve, split warm biscuits; place 2 halves on each serving plate. Spoon stew mixture over biscuit halves.

This is a delicious easy recipe. Don't buy fast food on your way from work. Make this recipe. You can substitute a couple of cans of chunky sirloin burger soup with veggies in it for the stew. Thicken with 2 TBSP. of corn starch dissolved in 2 TBSP of cold water. For 2 persons cut the soup to one can and halve the cornstarch.

When you don''t have a can of beef use hamburg and a can of mixed vegs its good that way don''t forget to add a little flour for thicking.......

i tried this and its delicious and quick to do. the kids love it. what a great idea.

It was a good and fast meal, I baked the rolls alittle longer,and added some mild cheddar and good to go. It is a good quick meal when you are on the run
