Bean and Cheese Hand Pies

Ingredients

can Pillsbury™ refrigerated thin pizza crust
1 1/3
cups Old El Paso™ refried beans, stirred
1/4
cup Old El Paso™ Thick ‘n Chunky salsa
1/2
cup shredded mozzarella or Mexican cheese blend (2 oz)
Additional salsa, if desired

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 400°F. Unroll dough onto ungreased large dark or nonstick cookie sheet. Starting at center, press out dough into 14x10-inch rectangle; cut into 4 (7x5-inch) rectangles.
  2. 2 Spread 1/3 cup refried beans on half of each rectangle to within 1/2 inch of edges. Top beans on each with 1 tablespoon salsa and 2 tablespoons cheese. Fold dough in half over filling; press edges firmly with fork to seal. Prick tops with fork to vent.
  3. 3 Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve topped with additional salsa.
