My hubby and I made this last night for dinner and it was great. We used reg. pillsbury crust. We fryed a few sliced fresh mushrooms and chopped bacon for the toppings. Chopped the red onion instead of slices and added chopped red pepper. I had leftover bbq chicken from store, great way to use up left over chicken. Its a keeper for my recipe file.

I made this tonight and it was a winner. The 10 year old didn't want the BBQ chicken so we made him a pepperoni one. He gave a thumbs down on the crust but I assured him there was a regular Pillsbury pizza crust that we will try the next time for him.

Try adding slices of smoked gouda melted over the top,and some crumbled bacon to take it up a notch.

Haven't been able to find the artisan pizza crust dough in our area, so I used the Classic dough, and added some sliced sweet banana peppers and thinly sliced Roma tomatoes - it was a HUGE success at the party. I'll make this recipe again!

I have made this a couple of times now for my family and they love it!! I think it is better than any pizza chain. It was so simple to make. I have only been able to find this crust at a small grocery store where I live. I hope they make it available at larger stores where I generally shop.

Oh my gosh this was so simple to make and a very big hit in my household. We added crisp bacon crumbled to the topping and WOW what a great pizza. cost so much less and tasted much better than delivery. We will be making this one again for sure.

I added the tomatoes, thinly sliced, sliced black olives and a can of sliced mushrooms to make a great pizza! My family wants to try this with Alfredo sauce. I did not know Pillsbury had a whole grain pizza dough - it took me three stores before I found it. Well worth it - yummy and healthy!!!!

Tomatoes are not on the ingredients list.
Add to the chicken, BBQ mixture, or later?
Chopped, sliced?

I made Pita pockets & used them as a crust, so we had our own personal pizzas. YUMMY!
