Just made these tonight and I love it! BUT instead of chicken I used pulled/shredded PORK! Can you say yummy??!? It's like having a pulled pork BBQ sand which but just with the crescent dough. I would recommend this especially with pork :)

These little treats are in the oven as I type and do they smell WONDERFUL!! My kids helped make these and are very excited to eat dinner tonight (for once)! Thank you for this fun kid friendly recipe. By the way, my daughter just took them out of the oven and she just can't wait to eat what she helped make. Thank you DoughBoy for helping me bring my kids to the dinner table.

I saw this recipe on TV last night and googled it today. I had all of the ingredients and made it tonight after the football game. My son and his friends said they were wonderful, and KEEP that recipe. Really easy and sooooooo good. Thanks for sharing!!

wellllllllll, i'll start by saying i'm not the greatest cook, nor do i work timely, as i'm quickly learning cooking takes wayyyy longer than any prep/cook time ever recommended and that always throws me off! however, i hustled along feeling like a crazy woman, because the whole chicken i boiled took a long time to cook and my hub stepped in and shredded the chicken for me, while i rolled out the crescents, which are a sticky pain in the ...., (but that i already knew), never-the-less, frustratin. i doubled a couple of mine, as well, but found that they did not cook thoroughly this way. also

This is a great recipe. My family loved it. I decided to keep two crescent rolls together so they made a larger serving. It also created a pocket so the filling did not fall onto the pan.

I made this dish for dinner this evening with a salad and it was AMAZING!!! I actually pulled apart the leftover rotisserie chicken that I bought already made form my grocery store instead of already chopped chicken. I did bake them a little longer than 15 min just because my family likes the crescents little bit darker then the norm. The only thing I would do differently is use a better barbecue sauce, instead of the store brand of their regular sauce. I would definately make them again and maybe add some peppers and onions and a different type of cheese just to give it another type of taste..

Okay to make this really good...mix all ingredients shredded chicken, barbeque sauce, cheddar cheese in a bowl...then melt some cream cheese about 1/4 cup the bowl...and then add to crossant and cook... It's delicious...

My 11 year old daughter saw the commercial and asked to make these for supper. It was super easy and alot of fun having her in the kitchen with me. We had baked beans and some corn chips as our side, everyone liked them alot. Next time I might add more BBQ sauce since the taste was a little bland.
