Expert Tips

Barbecued pork is great for these sliders, but you may also want to try barbequed chicken.

If you prefer coleslaw that is not creamy, any coleslaw will work for this recipe.

These are delicious and so easy to make. I used premade (Lloyds) pork and cole slaw (Walmart). Couldn't have been easier and the taste and texture combinations are excellent...the hot and cold, and the soft and crunchy. The only thing is, they are best when they are warm out of the oven vs. sitting around for a while. Although we had 3 left over and reheated them in the microwave for 15 seconds each, and they were almost better than the first time around. Yummmm! Can't wait for another party to make them again!

I am not big on purchased pulled pork... I make my own... Throw my pork in the crock pot with a small amount of water, let it cook until it falls apart (6 hrs or so), shred with forks and mix in barbecue sauce. If you want to put it in the oven for a minute or so to heat it up, you can...

Won at Bunco at our village not once but twice in 3 days, my husband also won and the winners are responsible for the next week treats. We used this idea and served 72 great people at our Bunco group. Economical and easy to make....that's for us.Picked up everything at Sams club, pork shoulder all the spices and the biscuits are in larger packs. It was a great hit.
