Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour bottom only of 8x4 or 9x5-inch loaf pan. In large bowl, combine all bread ingredients; stir by hand until mix is moistened. Pour into greased and floured pan.
Bake at 350°F. for 52 to 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
In small bowl, combine glaze ingredients; mix well. Brush glaze over top of warm loaf. Cool 30 minutes or until completely cooled.
In another small bowl, beat powdered sugar, butter and nutmeg until light and fluffy. Beat in 1 tablespoon brandy; mix well. Serve with loaf. Wrap loaf tightly; store loaf and butter in refrigerator.
