This dish is so good!!! I didn't have marscapone so I used fat free cream cheese blended with 2 Tbsp each of butter and whipping cream. Wonderful! Will try it wil egg substitute next time.

This was absolutely wonderful!! I've made it 3 times already & have frozen it too. Thawed in the fridge & reheated just fine. I'm going to try it with light cream cheese next time to see if it's as good with fewer calories, we'll see. If not then I would go back to the marscapone. Great recipe!!

This was so good - I put the bacon under the tomatoes so it would remain moist. I am from Michigan and made it with local tomatoes, cheese, spinich and eggs, so I felt really good about this Had a fresh side salad and it was the perfect meal. I named this my rustic tart, and I will be making this alot during fresh vegetable season.

Great recipe! Substituted egg beaters for the eggs, and turkey bacon for the bacon. It was still delicious!

This pie is amazing and IMO should have won the bake off. I made it with Neufchatel cheese instead of Marscapone because my store didn't carry it, and it worked well. So, some calories and fat were taken off an already low-calorie recipe! I also think this could be easily made vegetarian with bac-os or even just leaving the bacon off. Serving size is kind of small, but 6 servings seemed to be good. This was wonderful and I will be making it over and over. Thanks for such a great, creative and delicious recipe!
