It's even better if you use creamed spinach.

Great recipe but we added chiles and cream cheese to spice it up!

We took wonton wrappers, sprayed both sides with PAM, placed them in mini muffin cups to form tiny baskets, baked wrappers for 5 minutes at 350, then removed them from oven, filled them with this dip, baked these about 10 to 12 minutes more(watch carefully or your wonton will get over baked on edges)then served as individual appetizers. Fun and delicious. Everyone loved them.

This is an heirloom recipe. It highlights both artichokes and spinach in a delicious way. It is so much fun to have this hot dip and not have to use fondue forks for dipping. You can use i/4" slices of a long thin loaf of French bread (lightly toasted), buttery crackers, or Melba Toast as dippers.
