Ingredients

eggs, slightly beaten
1/4
cup sugar
1/8
teaspoon salt
1
teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2
cups milk
Dash nutmeg

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; blend well. Gradually stir in milk. Pour into 6 ungreased 6-oz. custard cups. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Place custard cups in 13x9-inch pan; place in oven. Pour boiling water into pan around custard cups to a depth of 1 inch.
  2. 2 Bake at 350°F. for 45 to 55 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold. Store in refrigerator.
