I made this tonight and had read some of the previous reviews. I used the thin pizza dough as suggested by someone else. I also used the precooked bacon and only used 9 slices of it. I made it for my 20, 17 and 15 year old sons who RAVED about it. I was asked to make two the next time.

The dough was hard to unroll, so some parts were thinner than others. The overall taste was good, but I tasted more bacon than anything else.(Which isn't a bad thing necessarily.) My husband requested more turkey and ham next time, you couldn't tell it was there at all. I'll try different fillings next time as reviewers had suggested.

I used the recipe as a basic guide. it worked great, i had a left over pork chop with mushrooms and some left over cheese fondue. i sliced the chop real thin- spread the fondue all over it- and only used 4 pieces of bacon. i also threw on some slices of turkey and slices of American cheese. the dough was hard to roll out but doable. family loved it- even the three year old. i gave him the end- very easy to hold on too- not too messy. it was so easy to make my three year old was even able to help out in the kitchen. i served mine with some home-made American fries. nummy. very quick, versatile and easy.

Made this for a group home that I work at. It was a "keeper" and will make it again. Will try the pizza version. So quick and easy.

We used this concept and turned it into a Italian sandwich. filled it with a pizza blend of cheese, sprinkled some Italian seasoning on top of the cheese, then put ham, salami, and pepperoni and rolled. I then coated the top with some olive oil and sprinkled with garlic salt. THIS IS AMAZING!!
Good dipped in pizza sauce or without.

The dough didn't unroll well, so I just rolled it out with a rolling pin. Otherwise a nice, quick and easy lunch option!

My picky family LOVED this sandwich!! I used the thin crust pizza dough and it turned out great! Soooo much easier than trying to unroll the french bread. This recipe is so versatile, you can really use your imagination and use any ingredients you like. Really good & easy..... Thanks!

Wow this stuff is great I made two rolls of it cause my family of four are a bunch of pigs and shared the lb of bacon between the two. I have never seen my kids devour something so quick and it goes great with soup to make a full meal.

This was the most popular food at our Christmas Eve party. I think it was the only thing we didn't have leftovers of. I used colby jack cheese instead of cheddar, turkey bacon instead of regular bacon, and added a little more ham and turkey to balance out the bacon. This tastes really good dipped in ranch dressing.

My kids and husband love this one! I have been cooking this since we saw it on the bake off contest show on television and it gets gone everytime!
