My husband and I were very disappointed with this recipe. The chicken breast was not done enought in the time given. I think tenders would have been a better choice than a bone in breast. Dressing is nothing special. This was a one million dollar winner?

I loved the flavors in this recipe! The waffles gave the stuffing a slightly sweet flavor that was really complimented by the maple flavor in the glaze for the chicken. It was only slightly more time consuming than what I usually take for dinner preparaion, but was well worth it. I find myself craving the yummy taste of the stuffing and wanting to cook it again and again!

This dish was sweet. I doubled the recipe and could see a young family with children liking it. It would be a good way to get them to taste spinach. I cut back on the maple syrup a little, & would cut back even more if I were to make it again. I also think that adding water chestnuts to the stuffing might be good for some crunch instead of the pecans. My family, which includes 2 college age kids, thought this dinner tasted like breakfast.

I should have known before I made this that it would not be my cup of tea. I really don''t like sweets but thought since it was a Grand Prize Winner I would give it a whirl. This recipe must be a winner or it would not have won. It would be a boring world if we all liked the same things. My best to the winner!!

I assumed that since this recipe won a million dollars, that it would be good. My gosh, it was awful. My husband will usually eat anything I put in front of him, but not this. He didn''t want to hurt my feelings, but he had to be honest and asked me if I planned to make this again. We both agreed that we did not want to have it again. I have tried a few of the other recipes and they were so much better. How could the judges have chosen this one?

We often enjoy fruit in our dinner entrees at home and yet we did not like this recipe- sickly sweet was the consensus.

This was great. I''ve made this recipe several times. Yesterday I made the full recipe and saved half for lunch today. If you follow the instructions properly the stuffing sticks together fine. As far as sweetness goes, it''s a matter of taste. But you have to consider that the recipe was ade several times in the test kitchen and then 3 times on the contest floor, so it must be good and have broad appeal. All the naysayers might just be a bit jealous that they didn''t think of using waffle sticks first! Personally I like it because I can eat a few for breakfast and then use up the rest of the box for dinners before I am waffled out!

This tastes best when made with a whole piece of chicken rather than boneless, skinless breasts. You can always push the skin aside if you don''t want to eat it. The stuffing is the best!

I think this is a great receipe. Add a green vegetable and you''ve got a nice dinner. I added a touch more chicken broth to the stuffing, which I think helped it hold together. Another thing I liked about the receipe was that it was 2 servings. When I make larger receipes I end up throwing half of it away. I will definitely make this one again.
