can (15 oz) great northern beans, drained, rinsed

can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained, rinsed

ring (14 to 16 oz) beef smoked sausage, cut into 1-inch pieces

cup chopped onion

cup ketchup
1/4
cup packed brown sugar

tablespoons red wine vinegar

teaspoons ground mustard

teaspoons chili powder

  • 1 Spray 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. In cooker, mix all ingredients.
  • 2 Cover; cook on Low heat setting 5 to 7 hours.

Substitute other favorite smoked sausages for beef sausage. Try smoked turkey sausage or a spicy smoked sausage for a flavor twist.

This was good done exactly like the recipe said, but not FANTASTIC, so made it again but this time with a pinch more spice and added Jalapenos while cooking. Me and the hubby love spice, so it gave it the perfect kick that made it irresistible!!
