Expert Tips

Don't want to warm up the house on a hot summer day? These burgers can also be cooked on the grill.

The ground beef mixture can be very moist. Try soaking the bread crumbs in the cooking sauce for 5 to 10 minutes before adding to the ground beef mixture.

Patties can be made ahead and refrigerated 30 minutes to a few hours before cooking.

Serve burgers with sliced pickles, if desired.
