I used Poblano peppers for a true Chille Relleno flavor. I didn't use the precooked bacon either and cooked mine just short of crisp so I could still wrap around the pepper/cheese stuffing. Next time I would substitute cream cheese and fresh cut herbs for the Boursin cheese. Great recipe!

I made these for a work Christmas party and they were great! I kept the recipe the same and they flew off the plate, they were gone in 15 minutes, and everyone said they were great! Def gonna make again.

This does sound good, haven't tried it, planning on it this weekend. I agree with YSD, this is not stuffing a chili. However, after reading the reviews and the subsitutions that were made, makes it sound even more delicious especially if you like spicy and Mexican food. You all made it your own way, thanks for the tips.

I didn't use any meat and motified the recipe by substituting queso quesadilla and placing a sprig of cilantro on the top before sealing the pepper and cheese with the dough. The rellenos poppers were on the table for only 5 minutes before they were all gone and all my friends were asking for more.

These appetizers are crazy good!! I substituted a garlic/herb cream cheese from the deli section for the Boursin cheese, as it is more expensive. I also diced the peppers, did not use precooked bacon - fried mine crispy and made a mixture of the ingredients, then filled the crescents and rolled them! AWESOME!!

Gourmet jalapeno poppers! Can be a touch spicy depending on the peppers. I substituted Chorizo for the bacon for a Tex-Mex flavor. Goes great with mexican food. I would recommend this to anyone.
