Bacon-Chile Rellenos

It's quick and easy to make jalapeño poppers brimming with smoky bacon, garlic and herbs, blended deliciously with heat from the jalapeño chiles.

I made these for Xmas Eve. I used cream cheese mixed with dried herbs and onion flakes. Excellent, will make them again.

Made these last night for our New Years Eve gathering and they were a hit. I failed to get the right cheese mixture so I substituted spreadable cream cheese seasoned with garlic and onion powders. I mixed some finally diced bacon and spread it on each triangle, then I added chopped jalepenos and a tiny bit of shredded cheese. They were awesome and will get made again

Just like a crescent wrapped jalapeno popper! It was wonderful, and everyone wanted more. Substituted cream cheese with a tsp of garlic powder with dried parsley, a tsp of onion powder, and a tbsp of grated Parmesan. Cooked my own bacon (still chewy). Absolutely wonderful!

Absolutely excellent...Chopping the jalapeno chiles and bacon worked better in this recipe. I couldn't find the Boursin cheese so I substituted chive and onion cream cheese. The kids could eat them because they weren't too spicy (seeds need to be removed from the jalapeno chiles).

I love the flexibility of this recipe! I made it using poblano peppers and garlic-herb Laughing Cow cheese and it was equally fabulous! When we discovered we had no salsa in the house, we threw our leftover poblanos in the food processor with some lime juice and a few Tablespoons of creamy alfredo sauce (every meal in our house is like an episode of "Chopped") and the resulting green salsa was a great accompaniment. We will definitely be adding this recipe to the rotation!!!

OMG Chile relleno's flavor without all the dredging and frying?..genius! And the bacon, overkill, just too much! Oh and the borsoin cheese...gilding the lily, brings a tear to my eye! What an awesome flavor combo and speedy results! I'm gonna call these speedy gonzales!

These are Amazing!! A perfect party snack, and easy to make. I also didn't use the precooked bacon, I used applewood smoked bacon and cooked it just till barely crisp. Only cook bacon in small amounts at a time as it will break if it cools too much. You should try these, they are so YUMMY! A big hit, everyone LOVED them.
