  • 3 Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are deep golden brown. Cut into wedges; serve warm.

EXPERT TIPS

Expert Tips

Look for precooked bacon slices in the deli section of the supermarket.

Pepperoni Breadstick Focaccia: Use pepperoni slices from half of a 3.5-oz package in place of the bacon.

Cheese and Olive Focaccia: Pull 4 sticks of mozzarella string cheese apart into 16 strips. Use strips of cheese in place of bacon. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sliced kalamata olives (instead of the chopped bacon) on top before baking.

Super great ideas here ladies! Thanks for all of them. Will be making this during the holidays for sure!

Made this using pepperoni and mozzarella string cheese. I rolled each breadstick into an individual pinwheel and sprinkled the tops with garlic and herbs. Then I served them with tomato sauce for dipping. The grandkids loved it.

Quick, easy and the kids love it. I've made this a couple of times and each time, there have been no leftovers. Topped with Italian seasoning and fresh minced garlic. Awesome!

Just made this and it turned out perfectly! So delicious. I added 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt to the egg mixture like someone else suggested and used parsley flakes on top. I could see this being great with pepperoni, too.

I bought thick cut bacon and made it myself, except for I cut all the bacon up and did not leave any in strips, plus I added a little bit of fontana cheese on top. Thanks for the tips on adding seasoning, I add salt to everything anyway but I added a garlic/herb mix and I used some fresh rosemary. And I agree with the use of either parchment paper or sil-pat. It came out beautiful & was gone very quickly.
