package (4 oz) chèvre (goat) cheese

slices bacon, crisply cooked and finely crumbled
1/4
cup finely chopped pecans

  • 1 Roll cheese into 8 balls.
  • 2 Mix bacon and pecans on plate; add cheese balls, then turn to coat.
  • 3 Insert skewer into each pop; refrigerate at least 10 minutes before serving.

Expert Tips

If you would like, use walnuts, almonds or even peanuts instead of pecans.

For a pop of flavor and color, add 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives to the mixture of bacon and pecans.
