For these flavorful egg salad sandwiches, try using pita or pocket bread in place of the whole wheat bread.
Substitute turkey bacon and fat-free mayonnaise for the regular bacon and mayonnaise to trim each serving to about 330 calories and 17 grams of fat.
To cook bacon quickly, place slices on a microwave-safe plate lined with microwave-safe paper towels; cover with paper towels. Microwave bacon on HIGH for about 3 minutes or until it is crisp, turning plate after each minute.
