Asian Sesame Noodles with Chicken

Ingredients

oz. uncooked angel hair pasta (capellini)

cup purchased stir-fry sauce

tablespoons honey
1/4
teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

tablespoon oil

boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cut into bite-sized strips
1
red bell pepper, cut into thin strips
1
onion, cut into thin wedges
1
tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1
teaspoon Asian sesame oil
1
tablespoon sesame seed

Directions

  1. 1 Cook pasta to desired doneness as directed on package. Drain; cover to keep warm.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in small bowl, combine stir-fry sauce, honey and red pepper flakes; mix well.
  3. 3 Heat 1 tablespoon oil in large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add chicken; cook 4 to 5 minutes or until no longer pink. Add bell pepper and onion; cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in sauce mixture and cilantro; cook 1 minute.
  4. 4 Toss cooked pasta with sesame oil. Serve chicken mixture over pasta. Sprinkle with sesame seed.
