Artichoke and Cheese Crostini

(1/2-inch-thick) diagonal slices French bread (about 2 3/4x1 3/4 inches)
Garlic powder

(14-oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained, chopped

(7.25-oz.) jar roasted red bell peppers, drained, chopped

(7x3 1/2-inch) slices mozzarella cheese, each cut into 8 pieces

Directions

  1. 1 Place bread slices on ungreased cookie sheet. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat for 1 to 3 minutes or until light golden brown.
  2. 2 Heat oven to 400°F. Turn bread slices over; sprinkle lightly with garlic powder.
  3. 3 In medium bowl, combine artichoke hearts and peppers; mix gently. Top bread slices with artichoke mixture and cheese slices.
  4. 4 Bake at 400°F. for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and artichoke mixture is hot.
