Made these for my son and daughters last week. Did a little changing, again. Used unsalted marg and omitted the egg. For the filling used 1/4 c sugar, no flour, eggs, almonds. Used the apricots, and 2 c. walnuts and 8oz. 1/3 less fat cream cheese. After the bars were baked, took the back of a spoon and pushed the filling down into the crust. Toped it with apricot glaze. It was soooo good.
