When I first saw this recipe, it read to cut out 8 rounds. Now it says 12. The serving size would then be 6, not 12. I just made these and you can cut a total of 18 3" rounds out of the dough and end up with about 1 1/2 tbsp dough left. I made 6 of the cookie pies, then took the remaining 6 rounds and gently pressed them into muffin tins. I filled them with the pie filling and then made a quick crumb topping: 1/4 c rolled oats, 1/4 c flour, 1 tbsp packed brown sugar, 2 tbsp butter, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. I divided the crumble evenly over the top and baked at the same 350F for about 12-15

I made these cookies exactly how the recipe says... These cookies Taste good.. BUT do not look cute! They flatten out very much! They are very flat like a pizza! And the filling doesn't ooze out like in the picture!! The filling is hardly noticeable when u bite into it... But you can taste it. Overall they are good tasting cookies... But they just don't look as cute as the pic. Make sure you space you cookies out on the cookie sheet!! Cuz they spread out a lot while baking!

looks good and will try but it says "serving # 12 " but if you cut out 8 and fill 4 then use the other 4 for tops that only makes 4 right ???
