This apple season I made this pie for my family and several neighbors from my own apple trees. The compliments and raves were unbelievable to me since I am not known as the greatest baker.
The praline topping set this pie apart from the usual apple pie. I am making this again for Thanksgiving and have had several requests from neighbors and friends for one for their Thanksgiving.
I wish I could take the credit for this pie as my own creation.

I saw this exact recipe in a newspaper several years ago and have been making it for all my family get togethers. It is a big hit and super easy to make.
