quarts (8 cups) apple juice
1/4
to 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

cinnamon sticks

to 1 1/2 cups apricot brandy or apricot nectar

Directions

  1. 1 In medium saucepan, combine apple juice and brown sugar. Cook over low heat until brown sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, tie all spices in cheesecloth bag. Add spice bag to saucepan; simmer 15 minutes.
  3. 3 Remove saucepan from heat. Remove spice bag; stir in brandy. Serve hot in small mugs or cups. If desired, garnish with apple slices or wedges and cinnamon stick.
