I made this with fewer cranberries than the recipe called for and shelf top pudding instead of the refrigerated kind. It's not a smooth sweetness throughout the dish. The crisp came out really dry and isn't really sweet but the eggnog sauce is really sweet. I would need to rework some of the ingredients to even it out.

I made this recipe for Christmas and it was awesome! I used fresh pears instead of apples and fresh cranberrys. I didn't care for the oat topping so next time i am going to try something different like a gram cracker topping or something more softer that is usually on like a apple crisp. The egg nog sauce was really good too. I would make this recipe again.

This was pretty tasty. I used canned apple-cranberry which made it so much easier(I used a 13x9 glass dish, and three cans of fruit). They have so many canned fruit choices these days! I think I will use the caramel-apple with this recipe next time I make it. The eggnog sauce was good, but the star in my opinion was the crisp topping. It was amazing! I think I am going to use this recipe to top some of my other desserts!

This is a great recipe, but I made it with out the eggnog sauce and cranberry. And put whip cream on it an also added extra cinnamon.
