Excellent, and easy dessert. I made it for my bible study group last week and it was a big hit! My husband like it so much I made it again over the weekend. I would be curious to know if it would also work using cherries.

Never thought to use apples for this recipe as I have always used cherries and almonds.

I didn't have canned pie filling, so I made my own with regular apples. I also added 1/4 cup more walnuts. It was really, really good!

I didn't have canned apple pie filling so I made my own with fresh apples from the orchard this fall. My sister stopped by, and I sent some home with her. Later she called to say it was the BEST appled dessert she ever had. Needless to say, this didn't last long in our house either! DELICIOUS!!!

This was a huge hit and was very easy and tasty. I accidentally blended the ingredients too long and it went past the crumble stage. So, I just dropped spoonfuls of the badder on top of the apples and it still turned very good. Will definitely make again.

This was delicious. I had a friend over and when I said what it was, he said he's had it before and liked it. Well after tasting this one, he said it was awesome.
The topping came out a little crunchy and the apples were done just right. I followed the recipe exactly, and the flavors blended together so well. This recipe sure is a keeper!!!
