container of pillsbury croissants
1
apple (not granny smith)
cinnamon
sugar
crisco
butter

  • 1 peel apple and dice ethem into very small cubes
  • 2 put in bowl with 2 tblspoons of cinnamon, 3tblspoons of sugar. mix it up real good
  • 3 take the croissant dough and form into squares.
  • 4 fill squares with apples
  • 5 fold the dough with apples inside into a dumpling, or perogie, shape. pinch sides with fingers or a fork
  • 6 melt butter and add cinnamon. cover dumplings with a hefty amount of cinnamon butter. then sprinkle with a heavy load of sugar
  • 7 bring oven to a toasty 375 F. put in oven for 15 minutes, or until golden brown
