I have made these a number of times. Everyone loves them. Last time, however, I added one cup of chopped pecans. Even better! Glaze lasts longer if a tablespoon of softened butter is worked into the sugar and milk before putting over bars. One problem I have is getting small jars of apple butter and not having to buy a quart size jar. Could you possibly substitute applesauce in the recipe?

These are the best! The chips are easier to find around Thanksgiving and Christmas so I buy extra and keep them in the freezer.

These bars were delicous, apples and cinnamon were a great combination with the sweet glaze over the top. They were so easy to make too!

I made these this weekend very good and moist. I found
the chips at Kroger and KMart. I will be making these
again.

I tried 5 stores and none had the cinnamon chips. Would butterscotch chips work? I like the white chips and cinnamon idea from Tiffany.

WOW ! Easy and Tasty too.... What more can I say? This is one of the those recipes that I will use again and again. The cimnnamon and the fresh apples put this yummy bar over the top.
I'll be keeping some of these in the freezer for unexpected guests. Yes! I froze some and they are wonderful after 20 seconds in the microwave to thaw them out just a bit.
