Ingredients

Angel food cake (round) bought baked or homemade
1-8oz.
pkge Philadelphia cream cheese - softened
1
med. size tub Cool Whip or whipped topping extra creamy is best
1
can of pie filling - blueberry is my favorite

Directions

  • 1 Cut baked cake into 2 layers, half way across laterally (if baking cake bundt is best)
  • 2 whip together creame cheese and whipped topping until very well blended, 2 tsps. sugar added (optional)
  • 3 pour 1/3 to 1/2 of pie filling around top of bottom layer, add top layer and pour remaining pie filling around top of top layer...all done!!

Keep cake refrigerated when not serving. This cake is so easy I have picked up the ingredients and made for luncheon after getting to the hospital to work. It's always a huge hit!
