  • 1 Heat grill. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except barbecue sauce; mix well. Shape mixture into 6 patties, 1/2 inch thick.
  • 2 When ready to grill, lightly oil grill rack. Place patties on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 10 to 12 minutes or until burgers are thoroughly cooked, turning once and brushing each side occasionally with barbecue sauce.

Use 3/4 cup of Italian bread crumbs and add two eggs to the lean ground beef. Then add worcestershire sauce approx 1 to 1 1/2 oz to the beef. Mix thoroughly. Then add 1 oz of Olive oil and mix well. If the mix is too gooey add bread crumbs till the desired consistency is achieved. Then make your patties and grill.

Made these for a family picnic on the 4th and they cooked up great and tasted delicious. Several people commented how good the burgers were.
